Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi im 17 years old and the last 2-3 weeks ive been experiencing some chest pain, either inbetween my lungs, but now its just under my ribcage on the left. Its sharp pain, but not extremely sore. It all suddenly occured after my friend sat on me at school one day as a joke. Im also wondering would it have anything to do with smoking? i only have been for a year, but not heavily.. maybe once a day.. And it wasnt constant because i gave up.
It can be as a result of your friend joke. I would advise you not to exercise and not to carry heavy things for couple of days. You can also take Ibuprofen twice a day for pain. If the pains doesn't disappear, I would advise you to see a doctor to perform some tests.
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
