Can Smoking Causes Pain In Swallowing And Tongue?
Ok so my tongue hurts when I swallow, move it side to side, stick it out, and yawn. It only hurts on the back right side towards the bottom. It especially hurts when I bring it to the back of my mouth. I smoke about a pack a day an hoping it s not cancer. It normally only hurts after throwing up hardcore though. What could be the problem?

helo thanks for consulting at hcm,,it could be tonsilitis since it is in the back of the tongue,it could also be papillitis of tongue at the back,,since u have smoking habit and dysphagia,,painful on swallowing i suggest take a consult with ent specialist at the earliest for a check up and treatment..do salt water gargle thrice daily..hope it helps,..tc
