I have ovarian cysts, I read smoking cigarettes can cause them. I smoked cigarettes for years and quit recently but use medical marijuana to treat the occasional pain. Does smoking the marijuana put me at the same risk for getting a cyst as smoking cigarettes would?

Yes, smoking cigarettes and marijuana smoking both are known to increase the risk of developing functional ovarian cysts. I am sorry you need to curtail even use of marijuana.
