Can Smoking Marijuana Cause Any Side Effects To NHL?
Hi. My partner has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, and is having cheomotherapy. My question is, are there any bad effects to smoking marijuana through a pipe, or a joint. He is finding it difficult to eat, so cooking it in something is out of the question. We have heard it causes pulminary fibrosis. Is this true???
We do not have any evidence to suggest the effect of smoking marijuana at this time. However if your partner is undergoing treatment for NHL with chemotherapy, I suggest not to smoke, because it will cause inflammation in lungs. And while undergoing chemo there is increased risk of infection because of low counts. I would atleast avoid during treatment.
