Can Smoking Marijuana Cause Varicoceles?
I ve done some reasearch and I believe I have a varicocele in my left testical. It doesn t hurt or cause pain I just feel like it will get worse. I can only feel and notice it when I get out the shower, however not right away. I get out the shower and lay down, then when I get up to do something I check and I can feel it. It goes away after standing for a little bit. I also smoke marijuana, but when I smoke the varicocele gets worst, still no pain though. I can just feel it get even bigger when I m high. Can varicoceles get worst? I don t want to stop smoking, it has become a lifestyle for me and I enjoy being laid back from time to time. Would marijuana make it worst? And will it begin to cause pain in the future? Please I ve been very puzzled for the past two months and I need some answers. Thank you

You have been puzzled for the last 2 months.
The description you have given about the scrotal swelling can be due to Varicocele and the confirmation can be had from clinical examination and color doppler of the scrotum.
Varicocele is more common on the right side than the right due to the typical venous drainage into the left renal vein.
If this is grade II or III, it is better to get operated.
Marijuana causes the situation worst as it dilate the veins so much and hence you should stop smoking marijuana
