Can Smoking Weed Before An Echo Test Affect The Results?
Hi i went to the hospital for a full body check I haven’t smoked or drink prior to my test for like a week. But once all my tests are done i went out to smoke weed but then right after that they called me in to re do the echo test i was a bit nervous like what if it shows something ubnormal but then the results were fine. So my question is does smoking weed before an echo test not gonna affect the results of echo? Cause im kinda having a thought like after smoking weed it is showing everything is normal.
Though, weed smoking may increase the risk of cardio-vascular episodes like cerebral stroke, heart attack, tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation etc. Still, just once weed smoking before echocardiography should not have any prominent measurable effect on the report of Echocardiography.
