Hi Dimple. I could appreciate your concern. The small amount of bleeding or many be spotting at the time of ovulation does occur sometimes. That cannot be anyway symptom of pregnancy. The cardinal symptoms of pregnancy are: 1. Cessation of menses 2. Nausea and vomiting 3. Frequency of urination 4. Breast changes : * Brownish to blackish discolouration of nipple and areola * Increase in size of areola * Discharge from the nipples on squeezing * Engorgement of Breasts * Tenderness in the breasts However, you cannot rely totally and singly on these symptoms. They have to be supported by clinical examination by a doctor and if needed by urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography 8-10 days after the missed period if needed.
