Can Stopping Of Vyvance Cause Any Side To The Patient?
my son is on vyvance 30mg and we are of the thought it is time to discontinue the medication - it is effecting my attitude and anxiety level. is this a medication that a patient needs to be weaned off of or can the medication be completely discontinued all at once - he is on no other medication

In my opinion it should not be stopped suddenly but tapered gradually at least over the period of 10 to 15 days. It is a stimulant medication. The brain gets used to it and so stopping suddenly may give withdrawal symptoms. Kindly talk to your prescribing doctor regarding prescribing lower strength formulations before stopping it.
