Can Stress During Pregnancy Cause Heart Problem In A Newborn Baby?

Can the stress and arguement between partners, during pragnancy, specifically cause a newborn baby to have a heart problem/

My daughter's new baby (her forth) has a heart problem and it is missing the odd beat. Her hisband has specifically blaimed the mother (my daughter) for this, saying that it is her fault for stressing during pregnancy. I would like to put her mind at rest on this. Is it possible?

Stress during pregnancy will not result in heart problem of the baby. Arguments or any other mental stress will not cause missing heart beat in the baby. The mother cannot be blamed for the condition of the baby. Hope that answers your question.
