I had a series of strokes late summer 2013, would it be safe to ride roller coasters? Keeping in mind most do twists, high speed turns, loops, and being in a situation of being upside down and being taken to high speeds in short time by electromagnetic means
I would not recommend performing this sports, considering the fact that you have suffered from a series of strokes. This is because of several reasons: - I assume you are taking a blood thinner and a trauma can lead to increased risk of bleeding. - Increased motion can lead to increased stress and high blood pressure, which can increase the risk for another stroke - Increased motion can lead to cardiac arrhythmia, especially if you have been diagnosed with such disorders before.
Hope you will find this answer helpful! Kind regards, Dr. Aida
