Can Sunburn Be Treated With A Cold Shower?

hi I went to lake Tahoe for the 4th of July and got a really bad sunburn. I asked my roommate what she would do she said if I don t have any aloe then what I would do is take a cold shower and let the water run over it that will take the heat out what do you think?

hi..thanks for sharing your problem here in this forum..
cold shower is very good for sunburn ..this provides soothing effect ...but along with cold shower you should start antibiotic and steroid ointment and take extra fluid..if pain then start some painkiller..hope you got the answer
