Can Sweat Cause Big Brown Stain On Back Of Leg, Butt And Armpits?
i have a big brown stain on the back of my leg. i guess when i got sweaty i scratched it too hard but it doesn t seem to go away. i just noticed that i have some dark areas a little bit under my butt and on my armpits too. i guess that means sweat causes them? i feel very self-concious about this, what can i do to remove them? thanks for your time.
The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is intertrigo which is a itchy pigmentated disorder which occurs of skin folds like axillae, groin and buttocks.Powders containing clotrimazole can be used twice daily over the intertriginoous areas.Topical antifungal creams like clotrimazole can also be used. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used if itching is too troublesome. Avoid occlusion clothes and prefer cotton clothes. Kindly consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
