Can Swollen Popliteal Nodes With A Noticeable Size Lump Be Cancerous?
If I have swollen popliteal nodes to a noticeable sized lump, have crohns disease and taking humira to treat it, have sore joints, and aching back and neck, do you have any suggestions as to what it might be? Do you think its something serious like cancer?
Thanks for your question on HCM. It may or may not be cancerous. But better to get done few investigation s. 1. X ray of local part 2. Ultrasound of local part. The appearance of lump on x ray and ultrasound will give us some differential diagnosis. But ultrasound guided biopsy will be the confirmatory to rule out cancer or any other etiology. So get done above mentioned tests and biopsy to rule out cancer.
