Can Symptoms Like Brown Spotting, Cramps And Nausea Feeling Be An Early Symptom Of Pregnancy?

hi ive been trying to conceive for the past 9 months now. I have irregular period and my last period was on 18.02.14 which lasted for only 2 days. i am expecting my period in a day or two but there is a brown spotting since yesterday and slight cramps. also, ive been feeling nausea lately and it made me gag but it did not made me vomit. any chances that i could be pregnant?

Hi,
In the current scenario, the best way to know if you are pregnant is to go for the assessment of the serum beta-hCG along with a trans-vaginal sonogram. If pregnancy is excluded, you could be having a breakthrough bleed. You would need hormones to put your cycle back on track and get further investigations to look for hormonal causes etc. to aid in further management. If pregnancy is confirmed, you would need to test for the viability and get proper support. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
