Can Taking Amoxi Clav Affect The Blood Sugar Levels?

Can you please confirm if amoxi clav medication can affect my blood suger levels? I have very well controlled diabetes and have had two very severe low lood sugar reactions since I started taking this antibiotic and was just wondering if this was de to the emedication or if I need to look further into something with my blood sugar levels.

Amoxi-clav doesn't cause low blood sugar values.Its a safe antibiotic in diabetic patient.Most probably infection must have caused raised sugar values.Antibiotics will control infection and there by sugar values also..If the sugar values are really low you can consult your doctor and the strength of the medicines can be reduced...thank you..
