Hello,
Firstly, if you are feeding the baby, please ask your doctor to prescribe some other safer progestogen. The hormone can suppress bleeding temporarily and withdrawal bleeding is seen about 3-7 days after completion of treatment. Usually, hormonal imbalances are observed after a delivery and especially, if you are lactating as there is prolonged suppression during pregnancy. This usually settles down in a couple of cycles. You may also use a couple of courses of micro pills to set the hormones back on track. Hope this helps.
