Can Taking Primolut In Your Fifties Delay Menopause?

i was always having v.heavy periods so i take primolute,, after taking primolute my bleeding is in controll and no pain but now i am 55 so how i know if i go thro menopose ? i am continuosely taking primolute from few years now in between about 2 year ago i stoped so that time i had heavy bleding so again i start taking now main question is if i am taking primolute at age 55 now i am not going to get menopause at all?? or how i know ? i have no any side effects from primolute

Hello,

As per your history, it is very important to tell you that taking hormones in your case primolute, for long term is never good. For heavy bleeding during menses it is important to know the reason and shift to other way of treatment.

Regarding your question about menopause, by doing blood test Serum FSH, one can know possible time of menopause.

As you are 55 year old and having heavy bleeding it is highly recommended to go for sonography of abdomen and pelvis Hysteroscopy.
