Can Taking Trazodone And Sertraline Together Cause Abdominal Bloating And Swelling In The Legs?

sertraline use for three months, trazodone added after one month for two weeks straight then as needed, both for insomnia. can both of these medications cause swelling and bloating of stomach, legs and arms? or can these symptoms be due to a vitamin deficiency? thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your question and let me tell you that the bloating and swelling feeling that you are having is not due to either Trazodone or Sertraline.

I suggest you should consult your primary care physician or if possible, a gastroenterologist. So far as my opinion is concerned, it is due to hyperacidity resulting in gastritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
