Can Tanning Be Allowed After Removal Of Skin Tag?

Hello, I had skin tags removed from my neck a few days ago, however I want to go tanning. Am i allowed to go tanning after skin tag removal or should i wait? What if i cover my neck with something. I know I should not tan at all, however I am only tanning for a special occasion.
