I am 25 years old. I had a baby last May and I recently had the Implanon removed after 9 months of having it. I have had several issues with trying to lose the baby weight along with unusual hair growth on my chin and other places that I began noticing before my first pregnancy over 5 years ago. I asked my doctor to check my thyroid because PCOS and Thyroid issues run in my mother's side. My thyroid came back normal but my testosterone levels were high. The doctor wants to check my testosterone again in 6 weeks. I just want things to go back to normal as soon as possible. Can the Implanon cause elevated testosterone levels and what can I do to ensure that my hormone levels all return to normal?
