Can The Fluid Retention Problem Be Related To The Lack Of Spleen?

I am a 51 year old female that has been told recently that I do not have a spleen. I have never had one removed. I have had a fluid retention problem for 11 years and take a large dose of diarhetics to keep it under control. Can the fluid retention problem be related to the lack of spleen?

Hello,
Thank you for your contact to healthcare magic.
I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that no fluid retention can never be a problem with absence of spleen. Fluid removal is always a function of the heart and kidney. If any one is affected than edema will be resulted. You must discover the problem you have by discussing with your nearby doctor.

I will be happy to answer all your future concern.
Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank

Wish you a best health at health care magic.
