Can The Hard Lump Caused By A Hit Cause Any Unseen Problems?

Hi, I got hit on top of my ankle by a cricket ball about 3/4 weeks ago. It was extremely painful at first but this subsided to the pain normally associated with bruising. However, there is still a hard lump and its very painful to touch or if knocked. Should I get it checked?

dont worry about the lump now.. it must be a residual hematoma or bruise. you can apply ice over the site couple of times a day for 10 to 12 minutes each. it will resolve your problem of your pain and lump both.
