I have had frequent recurrent migraines for over a decade (lately about 1 or 2 per week) which I treat fairly successfully with Relpax 40 mg. In the past year the migraines seem to be triggered by sinus/allergy symptoms and my left mastoid is quite painful to touch. My lymph nodes on both sides are also swollen, but I have no fever. I have a history of TMJ symptoms for which I always wear a night splint, and I have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and persistent Lyme disease. I do NOT seek pain medications, and really don't tolerate meds. I only take Armour Thyroid 15 mg daily and use Vivelle Dot estrogen patches since hysterectomy/oophorectomy in 1997. Can the mastoid pain be a symptom of migraine or should I see a specialist to rule out sinus/mastoid infection? Thank you
