Can The Pain And Numbness Be Due To A UTI?

i had a hysterectomy 8 weeks ago. i only have my right overy left. i had my 7 week post op checkup last week and everything was ok. for the past week i have had like a tingling pain in my lower left stomach. i thought maybe because i still have numbness maybe it was wearing off and it was just feelimg coming back. but this weekend i did alot of walking at the beach and after everytime this pain was bad-it even hurt just to touch it, i am fine otherwise. a friend said it could be a UTI? could that be a sign. i don t really have burning when i urinate but it is cloudy sometimes and i do have to go more then normal.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

The lower abdominal pain can be from cystitis or intestinal infection.....

If pain is just above lower abdomen and at flank side ovarian problem has to be ruled out ....

For that I would suggest you to investigate with .....
-USG abdomen
-urine routine microscopic examination
-CRP

According to cause treatment given ....
If USG and urine exination suggest cystitis or UTI than treated by antibiotic ....

USG will also help in rule out pelvic inflammatory disease if present ...

Consult physician for this ....

Take care ....
