I am fit and in good health work out on a regular basis have good diet and weigh 115 lbs, 53 years old. Can this be a muscle spasm or should I be concerned of something more?

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Based on what you refer I think it is a muscle spasm.
In these cases massage after physical exercises is recommended.

However an electrocardiogram is recommended to rule out any possible cardiac problem.

Consult your cardiologist.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
