Hello,
My advise is to go for surgery as soon as possible.
Because of the following reasons.
1. Varicoceles may cause subfertility
2. Varicoceles may cause discomfort leading to a heavy, dragging feeling in the
scrotum.
3. Varicoceles can damage the cells that make testosterone and may lead to a decreased overall
testosterone level, which may either affect the adolescent in the present or, more likely, in the future.
4. Varicoceles may cause damage to the testicles, causing them to grow improperly. This damage is progressive; it will often worsen over time.
5. Thus, varicoceles are a common cause of future
male factor infertility. Forty percent of men who are experiencing "primary infertility" (have never fathered a biological child) have varicoceles.
Hope this helps.

Wishing you good health.
