Can Tobacco Intake Cause Rise In Pulse Rate & Bp?

What is the relationship among increase in pulse rate, blood pressure and use of tobacco. My age is 29, height is 6-10, weight 62 kg. I have increased pulse rate for the last 12 yrs. I also take tobacco( Naswar) from the age of 13. Doc have advised me Inderal 10mg. I was feeling normal with these pills. But still I experienced irregular and increased heart beat when i did not take Inderal. But when i left tobacco my BP and Heart beat became normal itself with out taking inderal. U plz tell me about use of tobacco and hypertension.

hi dear.
tobacco definitely increased the pulse rate and blood pressure.
nicotine cause vaso constriction which cause increased both pulse and BP.
so its better to quit tobacco in place of taking inderal daily.
to quit tobacco consult psychiatrist.
also tobacco is risk factor for heart disease.
