Can Tonsillitis Be Caused Indirectly Through Kissing?
Hi, I have developed what I think is tonsillitis (swollen tonsils with white patches; flu-like symptoms) a day and a half after kissing someone. I would like to know the likely causes - it seems like it must be from her, but she had no symptoms at all. Could I have caught another disease from her that in turn led to tonsilitis? Thank you for your help. Al
I must say that tonsillitis can be caused through saliva during kissing. It can be reduced by doing salt water gargle, chlorhex mouth rinse and taking azithromycin. Avoid having cold water and cold food stuffs.Have hot food stuffs and warm water. You can get diseases from your partner if these diseases pass through saliva. Stay calm.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
