Can Tough Piece Of String Out Of My Sons Bottom Be Undigested Food?

My son is 7 and I have just wiped his bottom and had to pull what looks like a piece of string out of his bottom probably about 7 cm long. It wasn't moving. So I'm thinking not worms and I regularly check the children for worms. I snapped it in half and it felt quite tough to snap. Could it be undigested food?

Thank for asking to HCM, let me inform you that it is very difficult to say anything without seeing it practically, it may be worm it may be some artifact, more over you have not mentioned the age in particular whether it is the month or years, because it matters the great, worm is very less likely, and it seems to be something out side the stomach it is not the undigested food, the only best option is to sent the it for lab test hope this information helps.
