Can Travelling Be Possible With Ruptured Membrane In Pregnancy?

hi my is in 9th month of pregnancy. while we were travelling in train my wife discharge white fluid continuously. as we had to cover more 8 hours journey, we have cut short our journey as i got her admitted in hospital for check up. now the doc says this might be as a result of rapture of membrane. i have a question where this rapture has any dangerous effects. should u travel 8 hours to reach home or should u deliver the baby here only?

Hi and welcome to HCM

A clear watery discharge at nine months of pregnancy indicates that she may delivery at any time soon. In this stage its not recommended to travel by any route or by any mode, its too risky.

I suggest you to admit her in that hospital and if doctor permits then only you can take risk of traveling.

All the best
