Can Twitching Of Leg Muscles Be Due To Lyrica Medicine?

Hi doctor,had tendon transfer heel moved screws put in etc surgery ,3 mths ago,was on Oxycontone, Tramadol,at the beginning also Lyrica,Came off,the drugs after a few weeks,did it too fast went through hell anyway,was kept on a lower dosage off Lyrica 25mg/2 for nerve pain in ankle surgery area.But,the muscles in my legs jump and twitch it is driving me crazy,can it be the Lyrica?

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of Lyrica. Muscle twitching is one common side effect of Lyrica. The symptoms usually go away on its own. If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor for an alternative medication or an alternative dose.

Meanwhile you can take magnesium supplements to relief the muscles.
