Can Unprotected Sex Lead To STD?

Hi! Me and my partner want to start sex without protection. I know I don't have AIDS (recently tested, blood donor) and I don't present any symptoms.I had the last ime sex without protection two and half years ago, with another partner. Should I worry about other STDs? Can they be latent for years?
Best regards

Hi and welcome to HCM.
Yes it can,but if you didnt have any symptoms till now then it is not likely that you have some STD. so generally you can have unprotected sex if your parner is healthy too. yif you have any doubts then do std testing.
Thanks for the query. Wish you good health. Regards
