Can Vaginal Yeast Infections Occur During Menstruation?
Is it possible to get a yeast infection while on my period? This has never happened to me before. My period ended a bit sooner than normal and stopped for a day but then started up again with brown flakey blood. I checked to see if I had accidentally left a tampon in and stuck another one in by accident but couldn t feel anything.

Fungal infection also known as thrush can happen during periods also. You can go for a vaginal swab to rule out fungal infection. As a first line of management you can use Clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.
