Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 15 yr old daughter was diagnosed with non viral gastroparesis bu GI docs at Mayo Clinic 1 1/2 yrs ago. She was treated successfully. Low dose erythromycin for 1 month. She is beginning to have some symptoms that seem very familiar. is it possible for this to recur? should we be looking down a different rabbit hole?
Welcome to hcm. sorry about your repeat trouble with bowel issues. Yes viral gastroenteritis can occur again, even though it was treated once does not mean you are cured for ever. I hope this helps. good luck.
