Can Vitamin D Deficiency Cause Fatty Tumors On The Arm And Leg?

I m 48 years old, white female, I had 2 semi-painful fatty tumors for the past 5 years on my arm and leg and now I have about 7 more on my left leg along with bruises (for no reason) and I have intermittent leg cramps (more so in the hip and upper thigh area) and I m very active but the leg & hip pain make it unbearable at times to exercise and I m alwasy tired. Lastly, I was told I m Vitamin D deficient (18). Question - Can this all be related to the Vit D deficiency?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have multiple lipoma. You should go for biopsy or fine needle aspiration cytology of one of your tumour. Then take treatment accordingly.
You have vitamin d deficiency. However it has no relation with your fatty tumours. You should tak vit d supplements and diet with high vitamin d.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
