Can Vomiting And An Empty Stomach Cause A Low Lying Placenta Position?
Hello Doctor, We recently took 5th month scan for my wise and observed that low lying placenta and it is approx 2cm from internal os. Will there be any problem . Also before the scan my wife vomited and the scan was done at empty stomach. My question is , low lying placenta position can occur after vomiting and empty stomach ?

NO, VOMITING OR EMPTY STOMACH WILL NOT AFFECT PLACENTAL POSITION.
IT IS CALLED PLACENTA PREVIA. AT 20 WEEKS IT IS COMMON.AS PREGNANCY WILL ADVANCE, PLACENTA WILL MOVE UP.
SO DON'T WORRY.
TAKE REST AND AVOID HEAVY WORK.
REPEAT SONOGRAPHY AFTER 2 MONTHS WILL TELL YOU WHETHER YOUR PLACENTA HAS MOVED UP OR NOT.
