Hello,

Avoid wearing tight jeans. Tight jeans can cause undue pressure on the veins of the legs that may cause veins to appear red, violet, blue, etc. Presently, you can apply ointment Thrombophob on the area affected. It will help to disperse any blood clots on or below the skin. Support compression stocking are helpful.

Wearing support hose helps to maintain gentle pressure that prevents pooling of blood in the veins and also helps to prevent swelling of the legs. Avoid taking extra salt and cut on salty snacks to prevent water retention. If obese lose weight and avoid sedentary lifestyle so that there will be proper circulation. Exercise regularly. Keep your legs elevated on a chair when seated and on a pillow when on bed.

Avoid wearing high heels. Enjoy spicy diet, spices help better circulation. Do not sit or stand for long periods of time. Get clinically examined by a GP if it persists. You may require other treatment like sclerotherapy or laser and light therapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
