Can Weight Gain Make The Belly Button Deeper?

i am 21 year old female and i havent had this problem before but i used to be able to see the end of my belly button but since gaining 50lbs i feel my belly button has gotten deeper i cant even feel the end of it. is this normal or is my belly button opened up? and if it is normal if i loose weight will it go back to normal?

The increase in abdominal girth would cause increased folds which would would cause the umbilicus to appear to recede.

With weight loss and toning of the abdomen then it would return to how it appeared originally.
Your belly button has not opened up.
