Can Wine Be Consumed While On Xanax?

How does .25 xanax compare to wine? I m super anxious about an upcoming surgery. I would never mix the two but I have had to have at least 2-4 glasses of wine each night to calm me down. With the surgery (bilateral mastectomy) coming up, I know I should refrain from drinking. I was prescribed xanex to help me through until surgery. I m just curious... how much wine would one .25 xanex be equivalent to?

Hello, thank you for using HCM. I recommend you not to take any drugs with alcohol even with small amount . There is no way to compare this two things .Xanax tablets are used for the management of anxiety disorder or the short-term relief of symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with Xanax . Anxiety associated with depression is responsive to Xanax .Best regards.
