Can Withdrawal From Cerazette Cause Delay In Ovulation?
ive had all the ovulation signs TWICE this month but my temperature hasnt increased, its as if it tried to the first time and failed, its tried again this week but still no temperature rise, whats wrong? ive only been off cerazette 2 months, could this have anything to do with it?
Cerazette pill contains desogestrel which is used as an contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy and ovulation. Hormonal birth control pill like Cerazette users are likely to experience a temporary delay in conception, but it doesn't affect a woman's chance of getting pregnant. Ovulation will resume 2-4 weeks after stop taking the pill. It may take a bit longer for older women and women who have been on the pill for a long time. Re-establishing a regular ovulation cycle can take a few months. About half of women get pregnant in the first 1-3 months after stopping the pill and most women become pregnant within 12 months after stopping the pill.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
