I understand your concern fully well.
But I need more information to be able to give a meaningful answer to your query.
BP of mum is normal , that is very good.
If your doctor is worried about the baby's growth, you would have had two scans at a minimum interval of 2 weeks to find out interval growth.
The baby's growth is measured in numbers ( head size, tummy size and thigh bone length) and plotted on a graph.
If your doctor was concerned about baby's growth , Doppler study to check blood flow would have been done.
The fluid around baby ie AFI 14 is reassuring.
Once I get these details , I can tell you more.
Either way , if growth problem is suspected there is nothing much to gain by continuing
pregnancy after 36 weeks.
It may be safer for baby outside than inside mum.
Ask mum to keep a check on baby's movements until delivery.
If she is not happy with movements, she should go to hospital immediately.
