Can You Get Cancer From Placing A Laptop On Your Chest For Long Durations At A Time?

I have cancer now. I m 29 and was diagnosed last year. I used to use our laptop every night for 2-3 years resting on my chest. I feel like my heart would skip beats sometimes but never made the connection but I m wondering what we have found out about this

There have been cases of “toasted skin syndrome” (a mottled skin condition caused by long-term heat exposure) in people who used laptops resting on their legs for long periods. Some claim that such damage could potentially lead to skin cancer, but there is no evidence to prove this.
