Can You Get Pregnant With Intramural Fibroids?

Hi I have an anterverted uterus measuring 90 x 55 x 74mm affected by 3 large intramural posteria fibroids, the largest measuring 60 x 39 x 51 mm and displace the endometrium. My right ovary is 27 cc and the left is 7 cc. My question is how will this affect me TTC and should I consider getting them removed? My GP seems very casual about it but it’s freaking me out. Thank you.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The fibroid are not that much large. Pregnancy is possible with this fibroids. Other possible option is to undergo myomectomy where in only fibroid are removed without disturbing uterus. Consult a gynecologist as she will explain in detail.

Thanks.
