I had what was diagnosed as a lumbar strain back around the beginning of 2013. About a month or so ago, I noticed a large black and blue type area, about the size of a soccer ball, on my lower back and have had no changes in size or coloration since. Any ideas of what it could be?
Hi, Healthcare magic is your perfect choice. No need to worry about it. It is a Mongolian spot on your lower back. it can persist since birth but has no symptom at all. so no treatment is required.
If you noticed it recently it might be a large hematoma (sign of subcutaneous bleeding) then it needs to consult a dermatologist. With regards.
