In old ages people tend to eat less and less that along with gastritis will reduce the food intake. This is the main reason behind constipation.
Take fibre rich food
If I were your treating physician I will prescribe antacids and proton pump inhibitor tablets for your gastritis
For constipation laxatives can be used as needed it will soften your stools and will help to pass freely
