Cause For Ringing Sound In Ear, Hearing Loss And Swelling In The Gland Area?
since April I have had ringing in my left ear, hearing loss and fullness. I was treated for tb which I did not have symptoms of but took the course of medication because I work in health care. 2 weeks ago I woke up with several round red marks on my back and 2 on my right foot. that same day my gland area has swelled up and had difficulty opening my jaw for pain on the right side. also my right hip down to my right foot has become numb and tingly and painful. is there any connection here.
I have gone through your query regarding ringing in ear along with loss of hearing and as you said that you are already on anti tubercular treatment for last 15 days.
In this connection I would like to say that anti tubercular drugs are well known for ototoxicity. Though you are having other symptoms also therefore thorough systemic examination along with necessary investigations are needed to established the relationship between these and to plan for treatment.
Regards.
