Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My dad was staying alone in the house and when he passed away, nobody knew his death until almost 5 days later after his death in the house. When we discovered his death, we saw him lying straight on the floor with his back facing up, his head facing down and his both legs bent a little. His body (from neck to toe) was in normal condition BUT his HEAD had become BLACK and had SHRUNKEN (Shrink) until we could not recognize his face. There was a flow of blood on the floor. The living room s temperature for the 5 days prior to discover his death should be warm i.e. 30 degree Celsius. Police had confirmed that there was no violence or burglary break-in to the house. We do not know what had happened to him on the day he died and what had caused his death. Kindly advise.
hi, sorry for your loss. it seems he had a heart stroke. struggling for air during the attack can lead to breakdown of vessels leading to nasal bleed or oral bleed. sometimes edema from lungs can mimic blood mixed froth. It is ideal to get autopsy done as that alone can confirm the actual cause of his death. hope this helps.
