Cause For Swelling In The Forehead For A Child When Having Tonsillitis?

Hi. My 7 year old daughter has been off school this week with tonsilitis which she has been having antibiotics for. yesterday morning she woke wit a very swollen part of her forhead . the doctor said it was a heamatoma but i know100% that she has not knocked herself as shes been on the sofa most of the day and sleeping in my bed at night whilst poorly. now the swelling has moved to inbetween her eyes ?. Please can you advise me as to what to do. Shes not in any pain with the swelling ?.Thankyou Danielle

Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having hematoma now gravitated down in between her eyebrows.
If there is no injury there might having possibility of having some poisonous insect bite caused swelling due to allergic reaction.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.
Give her antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl for 1-2 days.
Ok and take care.
