Cause Of Hard, Movable Lump Under Jaw That Hurts When Pushed?

Hello, Yesterday, I noticed a hard movable lump under the left side of my jaw. It s slightly bigger than 1 cm. I can only feel it when I push it out. It only hurts when I push on it, then it feels tender and sore. I m worried it s something serious (when i think lump , I immediately think cancer ).
