Cause Of Itchy Scalp ( Worse At Night And After Shower) With Hair Loss And White Grainy Particles After Scratching?
My scalp has been itching intensly and I have been loosing hair also. I have noticed white grainy/sand like particles under my fingernails after scratching. I have small red sores or pustles and the itching gets worse at night and after i take a shower. There has been blood on my scalp from so much itching. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the dandruff, causing secondary infection with the bacteria, hence resulted in hair fall. I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe cifixime, multivitamin, ketokonazole shampoo for hair wash, and fluconazole. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to prevent such infections. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
